Designer documentation

This guide is for designers — users who create a new Nooxl App or change an existing one. It assumes you already know how to sign in and navigate Nooxl Apps; if not, start with the user documentation Starting Nooxl Apps.
Everything described here requires the App designer permission. A designer can manage all app and model permissions, but not tenant or system permissions. The designer permission is granted by an administrator or by another designer who holds the Design app right. See Permissions.
Who is a designer
A designer can:
- create and change Nooxl Apps,
- upload and adapt spreadsheet models,
- manage data labels and the data behind them,
- add Nooxl capabilities to a model through sections,
- and manage app- and model-level collaboration.
Cloud vs. enterprise
Some behavior differs depending on whether you use Nooxl Apps in the Nooxl Cloud or in a private cloud / in-house installation. Where it matters, the docs use edition tabs:
- Nooxl Cloud
- In-house / private cloud
Information for using Nooxl Apps in our public cloud.
