Data labels

Data labels are how Nooxl Apps identifies datasets and describes the data stored in your models. You manage them under Data and labels in the left navigation.

There are three building blocks:

  • Data label category — a collection of similar labels (for example a category Scenarios or Departments). Each label belongs to exactly one category.
  • Data label — a single entry inside a category (for example Scenario 1).
  • Data label collection — a named subset of a category's labels. A label can be part of any number of collections.

The example below shows one category with four labels and two collections. Note that Label 3 is in neither collection, and Label 2 is in both.

Collections serve two purposes: they determine the datasets of a model (see dataset selections) and they describe which labels are used to store data in advanced cell storage sections.
